And if you do manage to fill it up it'll only the at least double the time to read
This http://usbspeed.nirsoft.net/?o=1&vname=SanDisk+Corp.&vid=192… would indicate rather slow IO speeds of ~20MB reads and ~6MB writes. Probably good for plugging into a TV or something.
Phew, was so close to buying it till i research and its speed are utterly pathetic. Maybe ive been spoiled with my sanmsubg t3 500g, 500 megabites read and 400 megabytes write is so nice
For t6hat price, not sure what anyone was expecting.
Your Samsung is an SSD.
Would it be better to buy a used 500gb laptop HDD and then put it in one of those orico brand USB 3 caddy cases that zapals sell for $6?
yes, you could do that. But I do believe that USB flash stick have less chance(possibility) error/failed.
They can fail also
yes, but as I said last post. I believed that flash disk less chance failed than portable harddisc driver
How much is the used HDD and it is not drop proved.
I've been buying them for ~$30 each.
I am amazed that SanDisk would make a 256GB USB 2.0 flash drive- it's like making a 7.0 litre engine with 50kw. PLease explain?
I received one of these for free. I wouldn't bother. You'll get quicker write speeds from a potato.
ROTFL
Potatoes max out at USB 1.1 speeds
Quote of the day my friend.
"Fast USB 2.0 performance"

"military intelligence"
