Using a website known as google I discovered the following.

Lavazza's coffee beans are consistently rich in flavour and full-bodied.

Vittoria Coffee's espresso produces a rich flavour with intense character.

    I hope these descriptions help.

  • It also depends on what type of roast within that brand. Personally I like Lavazza Crema e Gusto. I find Vittoria Espresso stronger and more bitter. Then there is Vittoria Mountain Grown which I find even more intense.

I have tried both, personally I prefer Lavazza. Vittoria coffee beans are ok, but I only drink Lavazza at home.

  • Too general, it is like asking: "difference between Toyota and Mazda" be more specific please.

      "Which one should I buy?"

        Corolla vs Swift ?!?!

  • I prefer Vittoria over Lavazza. Vitorria's espresso ground coffee beans have strong aroma and tastes better.

  • With a CBR250RR you'd probably want to water it down anyways ay.

If this is the sort of question keeping you up at night…… I don't think you need anymore coffee ;-)

As it happens I've been drinking Lavazza of late, finding it less bitter and more to the Ozbargainers point, I recently picked up a few 1kg bags for $15 each.

I don't like pod coffee and prefer from a French press.

  • One is Lavazza and the other is Vittoria?

Neither of them are much good, compared with some of the more specialist brands out there.

I use Merlo's (in Brisbane)- freshly ground daily at their local premises, and works beautifully with a stove-top espresso machine.

Not much dearer than the brands mentioned either - I pay $9-10.00 for 200 grams, and that includes a free coffee made by their great baristas, so effectively $5-6.00.

And I'm sure that there are similar companies out there - great quality and not super-expensive.

  • Vittoria is fresher because it is roasted locally. Lavazza comes all the way from Italy so by the time you are drinking it it is over 3 months old.
