BeatsX Wireless Earphones (4 Colours) $178 @ Harvey Norman

Haven't seen these go below the RRP so figured I'd post a deal

Pretty good for an in-store deal

Grey/White/Black/Blue were all the same price last I check

  • Wouldn't normally consider Beats but when I was looking in to them these are priced in line with the competition (other high end wireless earphones) and seem to have quite good battery life as well.

Beats have got a lot better since Apple bought them. They are still expensive, but the sound has improved, and their wireless stuff is up there with the best.

  • Nice one, you can try this link for cheaper from Eglobal, you need to wait for it to be delivered ($158 delivered):

  • My cash rewards add-on is telling me there is a 25% cashback?

    • Pretty sure that's for Harvey Norman "Business" which is a different URL

    • Harvey nornan b&e which is different

Price Match @ Officeworks to get them for $169.10. They only have black and grey tho. I believe you can just call them and they will price beat the online price for you.

  • Glad they are starting to be discounted, as these are the next pair of ear/headphones I wanna buy. Would much rather these over the AirPods. Hoping they will go down more fairly soon as even priced matched @ OW is still to expensive for me to justify buying. I'll stick with my EarPods until then.

  • im looking for a pair of bluetooth earphones/headphones but would this work well with andriod or is it mainly for people in the apple ecosystem? also are there any other headphones i should keep an eye out for to see if they are on sale i missed out on the QC35 that everyone seems to love.

If you are looking for a bluetooth earphone, I do think Jaybird's ones are nice. Some people seemed to hate X2 (which I own) for its size, but X3's units are smaller so that should've fixed that problem. X3 does have a propritary charging port though.

There are Chinese ones which are much cheaper. I have used QY8 and I did like it, but I think others probably know more on Chinese bluetooht earphones than me.

As with Beats X3, I think you'd miss out on a lot of features that Apple users will get. It charges with lightning port (meaning unless you have lightning cables, you may need to buy more just for the headphone). Plus the features that W1 brings, like with pairing and stuff, wouldn't work with Android. That said I have heard that it works with Android.

      • cheers mate. thanks for such a nice write up.
