I took my ipad to a place in Brisbane (ipad air) to get a smashed screen repaired. First time I took it home the home button gasket collapsed. Then I took it back, and they cracked it open again. Unfortunately now the screen function itself is quite sketchy. I wish I hadnt taken it back.
Can anyone recommend a screen repair place? Am Happy to send it elsewhere if needed.
The screen is glitching after being re-opened? That means that either 1) The ribbon cable has been caught/crimped slightly upon them re-setting the screen or 2) the ribbon cable was damaged upon opening/re-setting the screen. Either way, your place should be able to cover it still under warranty - these things happen and while it is annoying returning it a couple of times, I would still want to be aware of the issue (and of course get the customer what they paid for). I used to run a repair business in my local town, a couple of hours north of Brissie and this happened once or twice, no biggie. Hope this helps. Good luck!
