  • Do you have to wait for the game to arrive back to you before another being sent out?
If so then wouldn't be able to play and finish many in a month with postage being slow.

    • No we have an Express Return option so as soon as you are finished with the game you can mark as express returned and we will send the next title out that day.

      • Is the express return option included in the $29.95 monthly price?

        • Yes it sure is!

        • @GetGaming: How long after a games release do you have it avalible to rent.

Asking as there are a few games coming out at the end of the years i want to play.

        • @Axelstrife: We have new release games available to Rent on the day of release.

  • No we have an Express Return option so as soon as you are finished with the game you can mark as express returned and we will send the next title out that day.

  • When did this service start?

  • I'm not in the target audience but it seems like a cool concept.

    • Thanks

  • I'm assuming that you have some fancy license with the publishers because generally EULAs state non-commercial use?

Impressive to get a service like this running with our incredibly expensive postage costs. Well done =)

    • Thanks

  • So by the Express Return option, does that mean we get like an express post sleeve or something with the copy of the game to send it back once we are done?

Once the Express Return is clicked we can then send out the next title, so you do not have to wait for the game to get back to us before getting sent another one. We send out a Priority Reply Paid envelope with all titles for you to return the games in.

Been a subscriber for years (before they shut down and now they've come back) and can confirm this a great service. I've saved a few dollars on buying games we hated and sent back within a day, and saved a few dollars on games we enjoyed and kept out for a month and finished before sending them back. (Essentially only costing us $29.95 to play a $70 game.) The only quibble I have had is with Australia Post taking their sweet time to deliver. We'll get the email saying a game was mailed, but it will take four or five days for it to get to us sometimes.

How it works: Browse site. Add games to your queue. Next available game is mailed to you. Play game! Get tired of/finish game. Send game back in the provided prepaid envelope. Mark "express return" on the website (basically telling them "hey I sent the game back, send me another!") They send out the next available game from your list usually next day or sometimes same day if you mark returned before 9am.

How many copies of new releases / big games do you get? It worries me that let's say Breath Of the Wild is a big game that everyone with a switch wants & that renters before me may have it for at least a minimum of a month & if you only 1 or 2 copies I might be realistically 5th in line meaning I'm not going to get that new release game I want for 5mths?

Hi, Number of copies we have of individual games depends on the popularity, because we have a members game queue which also allows for adder upcoming titles we are able to predict the number of titles we need to cater for New Release. We are continually reviewing and updating our stocking levels to cater for member demand.
We also allow for members to let us know if there is a game they really want and we can let them know when it is back in stock and they can send back the title they have and we can send the next title they want. A reserving system if you like.

  • I'm astounded this service can even turn a profit with the exorbitant cost of (express postage), plus damage, loss, theft, etc. I suppose that's built into the $30 p/m.
It could be beneficial if you like to play the latest new releases and then offload them without having to fork out RRP. Good for some, not for me though.
