Buying Overseas - GST July Tax

I want to buy something online now from Amazon US, i don't think it will arrive before july 1st.

Will the tax be the buying date or the date it arrives in customs?

Labor have seemed to do a deal to agree to the new tax, but delayed a year.

So you should be fine.

  OH WATTT, i just had a google. kinda weird that they can delay something that would come into effect in the next 10 days.

This has been delayed till July 1st 2018.

Hope it never comes
