im searching for a good deal on a laptop for a friend that will be going to uni next year.
it doesnt have to be overly powerful since it will mainly be used for internet, word, music, videos etc.
main requirements (not too strict) i'd say would be:
not a netbook (normal keyboard size)
14-15 inch screen roughly
windows 7
maybe a new core i3/i5 but not necessary
decent battery/weight
probably looking for sub $1000 or close to i'd say, but as cheaps as possible would be nice. since they will be purchasing it i'd say if it is in-store would be less hassle but online options are still possible.
