$3 more but it's AU stock, and stack with $20 off Ebay deal.

How coincidental! I was looking at these exact ones on eBay last night! Been on the hunt for one for the kids room as both are sick and still have not found one I'm happy with. How is yours going?? Would unbranded ones be the same as the one in the post (which is sent from China anyways)?

Do you seriously think this will help your children's illness? Unless one of the causes is low humidity, then I don't know how you expect this item will help.

        • +2

Yes, I seriously do think it helps as my baby has eczema and it gets worse when the air is really dry. I also find they sleep better when they have a cold/cough when this is running with some essential oils. It is also a purifier so helps keep the air cleaner :)

        • @KupoHo:

Just a note that you want to be careful of. These ones ionizes the air but the mist being cool, will falls to the ground. In room with Carpet - you want to make sure room has enough ventilation for it to dry off before hitting carpet.

I had experienced many times that the carpet becomes soaking wet surrounding these sort of cool mist ionizer.

Now I uses the those Vicks steamer - works better. Kids don't cough with little bit of essential oils. Though must admit, it's not very popular during summer time LOL

Yeah, I've read that you need to be careful of excessive humidity. It can lead to mold and health problems.

Some seem to think this is wood in my experience.
This is plastic with a digital printed wood grain

    • I was just going to post that the wood would be ruined within months.
So plastic is the better material choice, but it still shouldn't be advertised as wood.

comes with EU or US power pack, so will need travel adapter or a new power pack.
guess if yet US version you can bend the pins for australian power point.

the ali or ebay options has AU power pack, not sure if same build quality.

  • There's a lot of these with varying designs on the Chinese sites, I hate using adapters so I might opt for those as they come with AU plugs apparently (hope it's not an adapter).

    • A lot of the mothers group (anecdotal) reports say most die early. Ours has lasted six months, we use it when the kids room heater is on to balance the dry air because it is too cold to keep the window open during winter.

How are they different from these eBay specials which look identical…?

  • Where do you people get your essential oils from?

    Not the diluted ones.

    • Epigenetics from US. Cheaper and better quality than doterra.

        US$186.00 for the 12 hmmmmm.

Do you know how long they can be kept for?

        • Not sure but would be a while I imagine. The Truth About Cancer did a feature on them and I was happy to purchase.

    • I buy my oils from Ahsima I have been buying from them for years.
They are a small family owned business. I have found the prices to be competitive for the quality.
They import and wholesale their oils but also deal with the public. They pour to order (so you are not buying something that has been sitting on the shelf for month before purchase).
They have different quality's of oils and stock a wide range of exotic essential oils. They also stock carrier oils and sundries.

  • It reminds me of an onion.

  • Yeah….

I read the title as 'Ansell' and was subsequently very confused/intrigued by the photo.
