I'm probably in the company of many churners on here. just wondering whether anyone has churned the ANZ FF black card recently and how long in between cancelling and reapplying did u leave it?
I know 1 year is safe but wondering if any risk takers jumped a little earlier and still got the bonus?
Also if anyone jumped and didn't get the bonus, how did you find out?
Would be interested to hear if anybody has successfully done this but i'll be holding off myself. Currently waiting for both 12 month ANZ and 18 month AMEX timers to run out. Only 1 month to go, although i'll probably play it extra safe and wait 2 :S.

I applied Jan 27 this year. The overlap with the previous card cancellation was one week. They accepted the new card application. I was not told of the bonus point denial till yesterday when I queried why I did not receive them. They had great joy in telling me. I proceeded o close my credit card my access account my insurance I moved to commbank and basically closed shop with them. They could not care a less.
Please elaborate on this joy they expressed while telling you. Specifically, what form did it take? How did they express it? To what magnitude would you describe the joy was experienced? Was it mutual? Please.
Can Anz tell you what date the account was closed if you have another card/bank account/home loan with them?

My last FF statement ended on 11/12/2016.
To complicate matters further, I had changed the product to Rewards Platinum before closing that on 09/02/2017

On this topic, If I had an additional card holder when I closed my account, and they applied for one of the ANZ credit card offers, would they be considered eligiable? Or are they considered as previously being a card holder?
Thanks everyone for your help, I applied for a Plat Black and last week earned my 75,000 points!
I cancelled by FF Black in APril this year so this confirms that Plat Black and FF Black are on different annual restrictions.
No, I risked it and applied like 4 days before I was eligible for the points and you know how the story went.
