the site is pretty non-committal about where the socks are made.

i mean, a quick search on aliexpress shows -for example argyle socks for US$1.76 a pair of a similar design.

I've bought 3 pairs of these socks and the quality has been good.

    • Their website says that their socks are made in Turkey

A few months ago I bought some argyle socks from eBay (China) and they've become my favourite. So comfortable and smooth, they've replaced my other everyday socks.

I would have loved to go with Happy Socks but they cost 10x the price.

    • i bought 10 pairs of these from the same seller a few months ago and, other than one pair with dodgy thread, they've been great.

  • horrible socks, very thin, will get holes after 3-5 washes

Yes, but you are not supposed to wear them 10 times between washes.

    • Hmm, I don't know what you're doing with these socks. I purchased 2 paisley designs April last year when they had a paisley sale and they're pretty thick and have been doing strong for ages. Only now, over a year later and they're starting to show signs of age.

Disagree. I have had some socks for over two years, worn fortnightly and washed every wear and have gone strong. One pair have been thrown own with a hole. The older ones have faded a bit but personally I swear by them.

  • There are a few pairs on clearance at david jones stores for $5, plus they have take a further 30% off. Got 4 pairs for $3.5 each
    Made in turkey. Quite comfortable

    I don't get you guys.

    1. Patterned socks? Only if every pair you buy are the same. Finding matching socks is a waste of time
    2. Fading? Buy black. Only.
    3. Seems like yours aren't wearing all that well, i bought 2x20 pack 6 years ago for $111 delivered (mine cost more as they are elasticless at the top which was really hard to find), not a hole in them yet (that's 35+ wears on average)

Edit: tried to find the brand, it's "comfort sock", but i don't think the current company is the same as the old one, either that or their product lineup is no longer worthwhile
