As per title, I'm about to graduate. What are some perks I should take advantage of before I lose student status?

Why aren't you going to student services and getting a new card with a new extended date as you lost your current one .
Still a "full time student" until dec 2018.
Shit - that's not a bad idea.
Yeah I forgot to do that before I finished sadly. Also if they ask you when you are finishing, say you are looking to do masters or something, as they may only print you out a temporary card.
Do you gotta pay to get a replacement?
You no gotta pay
Depends on University really. Some of the universities will only issue you a student card till the end of your current semester. After that you'll just have to get a new sticker to cover over the expiry date when you enrol for next semester's subjects.
Have you thought about health insurance cover as once you are no longer a student you will not be covered under your parents policy.
If you want to have cover, with some insurers they will cover you until the age of 25 under your parents policy for Hospital cover, provided you take out Extras cover with them. This can save you around $1,000 a year
This along with the windows 10/office deal above is the most important.
Good note for others that see this but I haven't been on my parents cover for many years.
Free software through Uni account
consider putting a auto forwarding for your .edu email address.
some people report they are still getting emails to student offers many years later even though they don't have access to the account. My Macquarie Uni email account is still active from almost 7 years ago :) It is handy having a .edu account for certain student only deals.
However it's quite easy to get a UTAS account since they're offering fee free courses. You will not get the tangible student card though, just the .edu domain email plus access to Office 365.
Here is a a Wiki page for student-only deals.

I would have to say it depends on the uni.
Some may deactivate your log in but not the actual email address - might keep it like this for some time before deletion?
If you think you might be going to travel Overseas get an ISIC Student Card.
