Hey guys, very quick one. I'm from Perth, but I'll be in Melbourne in July.
If I get an UBER ride and it goes through a toll, I imagine they will add it to the fare, but how do they do that using the UBER app?
Cheers.

Or you can advise the driver to not take toll roads … up to you.
I was in Melbourne last weekend visiting and have no idea about which roads are toll roads. One driver asked if i didn't mind him using the toll but the others just used to toll without asking.
Would be cheaper with tolls anyway, otherwise you pay more in time and distance with uber anyway
Depends where you're heading and at what time. In the inner northern suburbs on the way to Tulla it's cheaper(and quicker on weekends) to avoid Citylink.
Travel from Perth to Melbourne via Uber. Nice. lol
And he'll be in Melbourne in July. That's some fare.
Thanks Guys.
It works out toll automatically if the uber driver uses the toll road route. As each uber trip is tracked with a gps which gives the driver directions.
