Suggestions for a 4k HDR Monitor for both PC and Xbox One X?

Hi everyone,

I am new so I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place but I am looking to buy a new monitor, the only thing is I would prefer if I could buy one that supports 4k and HDR. Reason being I will eventually buy the xbox one x, formally known as Xbox Scorpio. I currently have a Gaming PC capable of 4k output but have been waiting to upgrade my monitor. I have been going back and forth between a monitor and a 4k tv the main two I have been looking at are

For the TV:

I am leaning towards the monitor as I already have a decent TV just not capable of high resolution. My questions would be:
1. am I looking at the right options in your opinion?
2.Will the Monitor be compatible with Xbox one X outputting it at 4k HDr resolution?
3.Any other suggestions to what you may think I should consider.

I am looking around the $1000 mark.
