I tried getting the $2 bbq cheeseburger today at dog swamp today and they refused saying it was only an add-on for a value meal and it would be $2.95.
Didn't fight it today as I hadn't seen the full details of the new launch. Just got my shake and win $3 breakfast wrap and hash, I didn't really need the cheeseburger.
If I get knocked back again I'll call up customer service.
Haha I would have just shrugged and gone to Maccas. Gonna reward whoever's doing their bit to stay competitive, especially when you can get two hamburgers (with extra pickles!) for that price at Maccas.
I also supported HJs, but since their vouchers got crappier (and they removed the $5 for 2 Whopper Jnrs and Sml Fries), I've stopped going.
