How are the cameras powered on these? Just wondering if its by battery and if so how long do they last?

The cameras don't have batteries, you will need to plug them in to a power outlet.
Thanks. I thought the idea of not having to plug the camera into mains was to good to be true.
There are some available that run on batteries. It wouldn't let me link but search Arlo Pro.
I would prefer that but they are a little pricey.
looks dodgy to me.
it says at the top: 2 outdoor cameras included,
and then, half way down under: key features, weatherproof camera. - System supports up to 4 cameras (1 included)
4gb memory card included makes me think the video quality is going to be crap.
