Pray to Microsoft for the targeted promo to show up on your Xbox One dashboard (presuming you don't already have gold, of course).
I order to get the 1 dollar deal your live has to have lapsed. If it has than just check your dashboard, there should be a tile saying go gold for just $1 dollar.
My gold expired 3 days ago and I got the tile. They actually have 3 months on sale for 18 too. I went for that.
I'll check tonight. If it hadn't lapsed i wouldn't need to buy it to get the discount lol
I'm a fan of backwards compatibility but not a fan of what happens to the pricing structure when games become backwards compatible. Average prices for these games digitally just seem to skyrocket!
GTA IV is currently $24.95 ($49.95 standard price) and it was previously around $10 when on special before backwards compatibility.
Forza Horizon 2 for $23 is silly

People still playing 360 should be happy there's anything at all though.
I'm VERY happy that I have spent $100 at CEX and walked away with 30-40 games.
Each member of the family has their own Xbox $360. First one cost $399 I think. Last 4GB one under $90 new, and I was picking up second hand drives for $40. Even managed to pick up a 500GB unit new for around $120 at one point.
I have younger kids who couldn't care less about the One and we'll be playing the Xbox 360 till they do.
Best of all games don't have to be freaking installed!

Great price for the full Star Wars Battlefront game but too little too late. I gave up on that game a year ago and refused to pay their ridiculous season pass price which gave others an advantage.
