  • Will they accept NZ coins?

  • Turns out they are expired…

    • they are expired…

      Expired milk… Yogurt ??

      • Expired milk is not yogurt, otherwise it would have been kicked from shops…

Went to the last one they had back in January, 20c bread and 20c milk. Was all good, nothing out of date.

        • o.k.

But how much time is wasted in saving a few dollars? I'm sure some people waste a lot of time and fuel to get there and save a few dollars.

Like all the people who spend ages queuing for discounted fuel with coupons when the servo across the road with a slightly higher price is empty or the one up the road is cheaper.

This deal might be OK if you're there but plenty seem to be making a special trip.

Who? Maybe only the OP so far.

I gave the deal a + as good (for locals).
Of the other upvotes, only 2 are in Brissie & 2 unknown. I don't think those from interstate are coming to the party ;-(

If you spend more than $1.62 return to get there - those 20c Tim Tams are cheaper & more available at Woolies ;-)

Picked up unleaded petrol at empty local servo in Brissie last week for 90.9c/L with Coles promo & voucher. Very quick! Next servo was 141.9 ;-)

I'd hope most Ozbargainers can work out for themselves what deals are worth spending time & money on.

          waste a lot of time

1 Take a 'sickie' off work

          fuel to get there

          2 Hitch hike

Take a holiday jv & enjoy the wonderful world of bargains on offer in beautiful downtown Park Ridge ;-)

          I am on holiday.

The comments on their Facebook post, I bet many don't release it's only one item per person not one of each.

        • @Maverick-au:
Ah well, we're much more intelligent on OzBargain, or live further away than those going.

If those going have lots of kids, it might be a fun & productive activity ;-)

I didn't bother clicking the Deal link as I am not interested in wasting my time. Was attracted to Deal by a Pavlovian response to 20c Tim Tams in Title.

Those commenting are most likely locals who shop at that centre. People don't seem to be saying they're going - many are just responding to the prices. States 1 item per person & people are posting about that.

But, according to Facebook I'm going for a free Vietnamese meal on Friday… We all love freebies, but on the day might reconsider the wait, frustration, plus travel time & cost.

Wish I could say that, but that implies a break from some regular activity.
Haven't bothered with work, just travelling overseas for pleasure for most of last decade. Last worked 1 day in 2007 - to pay for airfare so could return to travelling. So really can't call what I do / don't do a holiday 😃
Just back from Japan to take a break & eat some cheap Tim Tams.

*Strictly limited to one item per person.

Damn, there goes my idea of spending $20 on Tim-Tam's.

    Unless…

  • I suppose there is a helipad?
