Wolverine Harrison Lace up Mens Safety Work Boots 8" - $59.95 (Was $199.95) Plus Delivery @ Brand House Direct

83

Was looking for a steel toe cap boots and researching to find which one is nice and does not cost too much for an amateur DIY'ers like myself as most of the decent one cost like $100++. This get much more expensive if you want an anti piercing mid sole on the shoes.

Came across this brand called Wolverine which seems to be quite popular and get a good review on amazon.
Cheapest on ebay for $99.95 (brandhousedirect).

However when I checked on google for this specific boot, it seems its advertised for much cheaper price on this shop (same shop which list it on EBAY).

There is a $10 discount code if you sign up for the newsletter, but your total spending will have to be at least $80 (exclude shipping price) which I think still not bad as I bought shoes for missus which is on sale on this shop as well.

Price on the shoe is $59.95 plus delivery ($12.95 for my postcode in vic)

Ideal for any tradie, construction worker, builder or any outdoor work.

Features Include

Water resistant, 300 degree heat resistant rubber outsole,
penetration resistant midsole, ArmourTek bump cap on
toe and heel, medial side zip for step in step out comfort.
Steel toe and oil resistant, the Harrison also has the highest slip resistant level (SRC) available.

          Are you sure?
Apparently this shop sucks, going by the below comments.

Negging due to major issue with retailer https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/4677354/redir. Full respect to OP for good intentions.

      Ah yes,
thanks for the heads up, I paid using PayPal so hopefully there wont be any issue but if there is Im sure this could be worked out (cross finger)

Yep, we had MAJOR issues with this company, buyer beware. This pair of shoes is actually one of the pairs that was in our order that eventually showed up, the sizing runs extremely big. We measured and ordered according to their sizing chart but the shoes were 3-4cms too big. Not received a refund for them yet either.

and moreover if they made a mistake with the size, the buyer has to pay the return postage.

I've ordered off these guys heads in the past, never had any issues. Never had to do a refund though, only swap.
I have the other style wolverine work boot from brand house and yes, the sizes are way too big, I stepped down a full size. I claimed the return postage from PayPal though, so was just effort to switch.
The wolverine boots are amazing I think, extremely comfortable, almost as good as my hiking boots, and the steel cap saved me a broken toe when I dropped a car battery.
Absolutely take into account others experience with the site though, it's all well and good to prose a straightforward transaction like I have had, real customer service won't be apparent until something goes wrong.

Hi OP, you do realise that if you had better customer service you wouldn't be getting all this negative comments.
Once again you stop replying which makes yourself look even worse.
You had the potential to be a good shop but instead you just let it get washed away.

Your points are obviously valid but I'm sure you intended them for the Store Rep instead of OP who is not Associated.

      • +1

        Oh right.
I was reading the other deals and from a fit of anger typed that out and for some reason thought OP was the store rep!

        • +1

Easily done - I've made bigger mistakes. The Store Rep's attitude is indeed repugnant and I believe that vendor should be banned.

all good mate, we're all made mistakes in our life :)

Just an update to this deal,
I did get my shoe orders and it's not too big for me plus its new stock Yay
