This 500GB hard drive = to 13.8cents/GB
The 750GB Western Digital = 16.2cents/GB
The 880GB Seagate = 14.3cents/GB
I'm looking for something similar. Cheapest I can think of right now is about $95 at Officeworks for a Western Digital, 1TB. Not sure about 500GB.
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/26435 - this one JUST expired ($69 for 500GB, $78 for 1TB) - but the 1TB is 3.5".
edit: Actually, the $95 one at Officeworks may be a 3.5"
