You can buy a PPSR report for $4 on the ppsr website.
^^This
I cant find vin number on the deyailthry provide. Will the seller provide me if i contact them ?
I can see those number when i click on Carfact but they didnt provide full number.
Also look for a sample pre-purchase inspect report (just google it). You'll quickly realize that a 300 point check is superficial things like, spare tyre present and seat belts functional. You can check most of that stuff yourself, without any expertise. In fact, you're better off checking it yourself, because you certainly wont read the mechanics report.
You'll also realize that a mechanics inspection can't tell you if the engine will fail on you…
Thank. I'll check the pprs later today.
The other reports claiming to be better than the PPSR are a waste of money. All they do is add some detail on the model of the car, like typical price range and kms for the year and fancy formatting of the info in the PPSR.
Do you know if the seller provide thr vin number ? The only Vin number i saw is through buying carfact option but they dont provide full number
It's on the car. Go and check it in person, then get the PPSR on the spot if you e got a smart phone. If you are buying from interstate, or can't view it just go and pick another Camry, there are heaps of them around.
You don't need to check the PPSR, if you're buying from a licensed used card dealer. They have to guarantee a clear title.
Its a private seller not dealer

better yet. try and source the camry from a dealership.
Ignore them. Carsales put the little Carfacts link on Sellers who haven't paid for upgrade features.
If they weren't able to squeeze the money out of the seller, they may as well sucker potential buyers.
Check it out. It's not on all Private Seller ads.
