Its a weird kinda Bargain. You would expect the reject shop to be cheaper right, but the packaging says 50% free. So essentially you are paying $10 for 500g IF it wasnt 50% extra. But the Reject Shop has clearly bumped up the price due to the extra 50%. So yes its a bargain at a $ per Kilo perspective, but a little miss leading unless their normal 500g packets were $10.

I actually got a bag yesterday; plus Pringles at $2 a can. Saw the strapz in Reject shop @ $10 then went into Coles and saw them 'on special' @ $8 as opposed to regular price of either $10 or $11 (not sure as I was price checking a few items).Either way, got temporarily excited at Coles being cheaper until realizing that Coles was the smaller 500g bag. In at Big W, price was higher still.
My guess is smacko has approached reject shop and offered to create a packaging size just for them, and make it sound special somehow by saying 50% free. But the fact is, price per kg is how it should be looked at, and this is cheap compared to p/kg of sale and RRP from competitors.
Big W often sell the 50% bonus bags around Christmas time
