I'm going to Da Nang for 5 days and wondering if anyone can recommend a place to stay that is reasonable.
Could be an apartment, hotel or condo.
Would also appreciate any tips on good places to eat and things to do.
Looking for any suggestions on accomodation in Da Nang Vietnam

False, spent 5 days in Hoi An and loved every second. In my opinion, avoid DaNang if possible and spend all your time in Hoi An (though given the single destination not sure if your trip is for leisure or for work).
Uh you must love the tourist market circle where everything looks the same lol
Hoi An has good foods lol
define what you mean by 'reasonable'
Plenty to choose from at TripAdvisor and good value for the prices. Don't know what would suit you because you haven't detailed your situation (couple, solo, pampering, backpacking, etc). Hoi An is worth visiting but whether you want to stay there, depends on what you are looking for. Of course it's very touristy and formulaic but still pretty.
I splashed out for a foodie tour. Loved it because the guide took us places you might not dare to try on your own.
Had a great experience at Chu Hotel Da Nang, search it up. Overall good ratings.
It has a great restaurant on the bottom floor and super close to the beach :)
Agree with the comments about Hoi An. Just got back from there and after a day or so I was done with it. Just seeing the around the airport vicinity in Da Nang I think you would have more to do there if you want beers, beach and food.
Also agree with the Grab suggestion, used them around Hoi An and Saigon no probs.
Intercontinental Da Nang is one of the best hotels I've been to, a bit expensive though
I was gonna say, Da Nang sucks. Go to Hoi An, its a million times better.
I was in Da Nang for the day - 1/10 would not re-attend.
Thanks for the suggestions guys. We are a couple and going for a short vacation.Looking for mid range accommodation.
Have a look at the characteristics of Da Nang and Hoi An to decide how much time you want to spend in each. Da Nang is a sizeable working city (pop. 1 million I think) with a wide range of eateries, and beaches (which are nowhere near as good as ours). In the north, the hotels are separated from the beach by a boulevard. Further down, the resorts have their own beaches. Da Nang is large enough to require transport to go from spot to spot, though you can do a foodie crawl in the centre. Hoi An is a UNESCO listed town, quaint and very touristy, but also picturesque. There are resorts there if you want to be pampered.
Went there a few months ago. Stayed at a place called lunar or something. Use grab taxi app. The taxis rips you new one. Lots of places to hang out close by the dragon bridge thing and beach side. Make way to hoi an but it's only really a day duration. Not much there
