I'm looking for a reliable low profile band/watch that can give me notifications of emails/sms/calls. I usually don't keep the phone on me and i sometimes miss the important call or email.
Any recommendations for around $150-200

+1 for mi band 2, under $40 and battery lasts about 3 weeks for me.
If you have an iPhone, get an Apple watch. Nothing else comes close to their integration. You can find cheap ones for about $250.
Probably a Fitbit Charge 2 or Alta
Xiaomi Band 2 can do the same for much cheaper and last longer too.
