According to xboxachievements.com:
Gearbox has launched a new free trial for its hero brawler Battleborn that allows players to play the game for as long as they want - on all competitive modes - without any level caps, time limitations or any content being locked off.
The catch - you'll only be able to choose one of six heroes at a time. There'll be a rotating roster of free characters you can select unless you pay for the game, in which case you'll be able to choose whoever you like, whenever you like.
If that's not to your taste, you'll be able to buy heroes on a one-by-one basis with credits unlocked in the game itself, or with Platinum currency which can be bought with real cash.
The free trial is now live on Xbox One and PC, and is coming to PS4 on June 13th. Will this tempt you to play the game? Let us know.
Still haven't cracked open the 10 buck copy we got when Big W were flogging it last year. Ended up getting EA Access and that satisfied the shooter itch.
Unrelated, but another new F2P game, Marvel Heroes Omega, is pretty fun. Been playing it on PS4 and while the price they want to unlock characters is ridiculous, I'm happy keeping Spidey level capped at 10 and playing through the story as so.
