Looking to go overseas for a relatively cheap holiday from Syd with my partner over the NYE break. Open to anywhere. Probably not Bali or Thailand though - depending on how cheap/convenient I may consider it though! Any suggestions?

Flights to Singapore are cheap (and hawker food) but everything else in Singapore is pretty expensive.
