And yeah, as @67Gateway has mentioned, ordering two pairs with different sizes / widths is a good idea. I was suggested doing so by New Balance's customer service and I did. Will return one pair today.

They do. I just have to call and check what the status of my order and then I was told that for some reason your order was held up and we don't have stock. Refunded the money.

Go for it! I have done the reverse and bought men's trainers when those are reduced, and been really happy with them. Most brands men's lines have a better range of good colours anyway. A lot of trainer designers think women only want fluorescent pink or hectic patterns, and not things that go with their everyday outfits. Drives me mad.

Looks like a pretty good shoe when one of their only 2 cons is that it's expensive. I'm gonna pick up two in different sizings, thanks for the tip @67Gateway. I wonder - does that mean I'll get free postage because it's over $100 but then I return one and I won't have to pay postage? Why not do that with everything on their site?
You can, but this code in the post gets you free shipping under $100 so it's exactly the same.
Actually, after I purchased it said something (that I'm going to have to paraphrase as I've closed it) that the discounts apply to my cart as it is but that if I make a partial refund, the discounts will be removed from refund. Like you said, it wouldn't apply the shipping code because I spent $100. If I do a partial refund and the code didn't apply, I wonder if I'll have to pay the postage for the $50 order?

Just received mine. Nearly went mad trying to buy them, as paypal was not playing with NB that day, like some of the erst of you experienced I see. After over half an hour waiting to speak to NB customer service at my desk at work, i hung up and had luck using my credit card instead. At one stage i feared all my paypal attempts had actually worked and that i would receive (and pay for) about 20 pairs. Thanks OP!
Forgot to include above that i suffer from plantar fasciitis, and these shoes are excellent for that, and any other kind of foot or leg condition requiring cushioning. Also in NB i always have to size a full (not just half) size up, to make them feel long enough to be comfortable around the toe box - after a coupe of early mistakes. That's what i did with these also, and again they fit perfectly. Others may need to size up also.
