After a USB headset for gaming, although I only play DOTA2.
My preferences is for it to be:
-Around $100 give or take.
-Stronger musically since I only play DOTA2, and I always listen to Spotify.
-Very comfortable for long periods.

I was actualy going to say id heard great things about them, but never having used em myself I didnt.
Audiophile ones have less heavy bass, usualy better for music than games though. Ad700 use to be thego at about $170 (though I have friends who got them for $120, discontinued now though….
Im using platonics 720's I bought at eb on sale as the dog killed my logitech ones. Best to go to jb or somewhere try afew see what you like.
This is probably perfect for you - Logitech G430 $75 or less.
Tried them? I had these and found them heavy and uncomfortable. Luckily the dog chewed through the cord one month in and I replaced them with the much lighter Plantronics 380.
Lesson: try before you buy
I haven't, seen a lot of pros use them + was under the impression that they would be light due to the plastic. Personally i'd go with the hyperx cloud IIs if OP can find a good eBay sale.

I've noticed JB HIFI have them for $129, hopefully get them for less through my friend working there :)
Have them, love them. Very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
Also you can unplug the USB controller part of the cord and use them as regular headphones on your phone/MP3 Player/etc.
hyper x cloud II beast of a headset used it till i got a free G930 :)
