If you are looking at Breville products, and don't mind them not being "new" then I suggest ringing the Breville outlet stores and asking what their current price is. There is one in Smith St, Fitzroy. When I was there last there was a coffee machine, but I couldn't tell you which model or the price, but often stuff at the store is below half price and they come with 12 months repair warranty.
I have been to that Fitzroy store last weekend and even called them today.
They had no bes840 in stock . Only bes870 which was $399
this machine looks cool
