Looking for a PS3 console, not really interested in games as I can source those cheaper overseas so I just need the console. I want two consoles, one for me and one for my nephew. Any help would be good, saw that Sony was doing them for $349 a couple weeks back, rang them today and they cannot do the same price (WTF)..anyway any help would be good.

Adelaide, I rang Sefton plaza today and they said nope, they wont honor it anymore. Also tried a couple JBs and they wont either. Going to try again tomorrow, hoping to walk into a place with $700 and buy two, mind you I have had places say no before with cash in hand. Very odd, even Sony didnt wanna sell me two consoles today, went to the Sony Centre and they said nope. Crazy.

Not sure how many they have in stock, just give them a call. I can scan the receipt for you tomorrow (forgot to bring it to work today). If you are in a rush, just use the Adelaide EB Games receipt from the Whirlpool thread. The salesman just called up the Adelaide store to see if it was legit, and then called his manager to make sure.

Got two guys from Harvey Norman geppes cross yesterday, thanks for the support. They had about 40 left, was easy to get the price reduced. Paid the extra $35 to get another 12 months warranty as well.

hotzone I just got one at EB Games Dianella (Perth) for $350 using a receipt that I got from Whirlpool forums. The receipt was for EB Games Firle Plaza (Adelaide). On the Whirlpool thread there are also receipts for JB Hifi and Toys R Us.
What state are you in?
