Everything I've purchased from TopBuy is simply worthless overpriced crap that's generally cheap but worthless. I come across a cheap PVR, I'm tempted. But I promised myself I would never buy from TopBuy again.
What do you guys think? about OMNI, seems too cheap to be true.
IDE hard drive will be expensive so after your current one dies, it will probably be too expensive to replace.
Regarding OMNI: My first DVD player was an OMNI. I was very happy with it. No other DVD player I've owned since has come close to matching the OMNI's bookmarking feature which I had taken for granted. Unfortunately after a heat wave of 50+ degree temperatures, it never turned on again. (Tin roof + no air conditioning = unhappy electronic devices)

Be warned. A friend bought two units, neither of them would record to hard drive. Topbuy then spent 1-1/2 hours on the phone trying to dissuade him from returning them. Avoid them.
Sounds okay although its Standard Definition
