What Price to Pay for an iPhone 6?

Looking at purchasing a used iPhone 6, what's the right price to pay these days?
This 16GB one on ebay is about $263 after the CRACKA20 discount, is that a good deal?
Thanks.

    16gb is small.

I bought a 16gb when the 5s came out due to it being my first smart phone and not knowing any better.

I'd encourage you to consider getting one with more storage.

    16 fills very quickly.

    I recently bought an iPhone 6 128gb.

The battery turned out to be dodgy but the $119 replacement only bumped the total price up to $419 which I'm ok with.

    • Thanks for the advice, I'm upgrading from a phone with 8GB, so 16GB would be ok for me at the moment. If you don't mind me asking, did you purchase yours on ebay or elsewhere?

Elsewhere, private sale. My landlord upgraded and offered me the 6

      • I'm curious to know, with that particular seller, given that you don't know the exact condition of the phone, does that affect your purchase decision?

        • I'm not particularly worried about cosmetic condition. They also have this 'as new' phone which is not much extra, so I'll consider that one as well.

@headphonejack: I am an iPhone user. I have my iPhone 5 32Gb for quite a few years, and I only have 1Gb left. I highly encourage you to buy 64 or 128, as higher quality photos and newer iOS and apps (you have bigger screen, you may start playing games) will fill up the memory quickly.
I recently ordered iPhone 7 online, I think it will arrive by this Wednesday.
Be aware of those 'as new' phones, some of them not even in original package. If you are aware that some black markets in China create fake but like real iPhone or they may sell you stolen phones.

        • @madagascar: Thanks, I appreciate your advice. I am still in the market for a phone, but currently looking at getting the iPhone SE, as I like the smaller size.

@headphonejack: If you think you can wait for two more months, SE price is gonna go down in Sep after new iPhone release. Good luck.
If you are like me, seldom tracing a new model, buy a brand-new one instead of second hand or 'as new', you never know what are the iPhone's problems (I only get 7 becuz I dropped my 5 onto the floor and the monitor split. After I put it back, the right side couldn't sense my finger anymore, means I can't type letter 'p' unless I unlock portrait screen)

        • @madagascar: Thanks, I think I will wait a bit longer. I currently have an iPhone 5 & I just replaced the battery in it, so it should keep me going for the moment.

  • Hi, how was your experience with purchasing an iphone from that seller?

I'm in the market of buying an Iphone 6 and saw quite a few ads on ebay for these

    Thanks

    • I didn't end up buying from them, as they jacked up the price before I had the chance!
I purchased an iphone 5C from this seller during a sale last year & I was very happy with it, it did have a few dents in it, but the battery seemed to hold charge well & it worked very smoothly.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
