Yesterday I purchase $800 worth of items from eBay with the 15% off code and paypal balance. However, this morning I realized that the payment was revised from paypal. I have contacted eBay for this issue. Their advise was to have me repurchase the item and call them again. They will give me the credit. Has anyone experienced that? I am a bit worry if they refuses to credit later on, it will be a $120 lost from my pocket.

Same thing happen to me with the Winer15 code. After an hour on the phone they managed to get the transaction through and will be giving me a paypal credit.
It has happened in the past when Ebay pulled a promotion and I complained, they did end up giving me back the difference.
I've had a similar issue before, eBay checkout said something like $90 with coupon added but then got charged $100 on my card. The issue was that the email registered for the eBay account didn't match the email registered with the Paypal account (it's in the T&C's for every deal). Can't remember which one I called but they didn't care and were happy to credit the difference. I don't think you should have to process the purchase again, doesn't seem like it would make a difference which purchase they credit you on. I wouldn't risk it especially now that the promo is over.
I ordered a bunch of stuff at about 11:55PM using the discount code. All of the orders were cancelled and refunded with no explanation. They don't exist in my eBay purchase history and everything was placed back into my cart. Now I have the sellers emailing me and calling my personal phone to sort out these orders. Ridiculous.

Got the PayPal receipt but not the order e-mail from eBay.
Same thing happened to me, except I haven't received refunds. I contacted eBay, and their solution is to 'contact all the sellers to ask if they've received the payment'. There's no record of the purchases in my account, so it's a somewhat useless endeavour. I have sent screenshots of the PayPal transactions to eBay, but still haven't received a resolution. What a pain in the ass.
ebay will credit the difference into your pp account.

Has happened to me on a few occassions ebay have always provided me with a credit without any hassle
paypal are useless, used a promo code a couple minutes before midnight got the ebay email purchases with the $10 discount applied then got emails from paypal without the $10 discount applied. called paypal to no avail they wouldn't listen and said one of the items was processed after midnight and to contact ebay. gave up lost $10 useless process.
If you have it in writing from eBay, I think you should be fine.
