I have never made a report to the ACCC (Edit: been told to report to Fair trading in comments) before but made one about co-op today. My family and I ordered pop vinyls from their deal they had recently and was told there would be no problem filling my order via phone. I was given out of stock notices for a few items after seeing them in my local store.
I have emailed, messaged via facebook, their help online support and even phoned co-op and only get told that their operators are on other calls and to contact your local store and it disconnects you. I tried over 7 times to call. I have had a few items come and most have tears on the boxes, scratched and one was open and the box slightly crushed. No emails about my items being sent though I had had 3 parcels with a couple of items turn up but even then the invoice did not match what was meant to be in there. A few items were missing. We ordered them for family and friends who collect these things and would not take them out of the boxes so disappointed to get them crushed and ripped etc.
I have been asking and contacting them for weeks now. I asked them about a price match and it took weeks to reply and they never addressed questions I asked. I purchased a laptop from them previously and got home to use it as my power supply did not work anymore on the current laptop I had. They sold me a store display model and denied it was one when I checked event viewer and it had a password and store name as the login details. This caused me a lot of upset as I had purchased it to do work I had to do that night.
I have made so many attempts to call them or have someone call me. I am a student so I was already a member but I can see why people were downvoting deals about them.
Aren't you technically an owner? Not sure how it stands with the ACCC.
