Kenwood KVS6300s - $699 Delivered (RRP $899) @ Myer

20

This is a deal for the home cooks. The KS6300s is kenwoods new mixer, it has Stainless steel attachments not plated aluminum. I bought one of these last week for $720 :( Now can be had for $699.

Beats the hell out of a kitchenaid as usual but is a bit more expensive due to stainless steel bowl, attachments, more powerful motor and larger capacity.

  • If anyone would like my 2c on this mixer let me know. This mixer does come with a 5 year warranty but keep in mind it is a home mixer. It doesnt compete against a Hobart mixer ($2500-$4000). Ps. Im a baker by trade.

    • Have you tried the smaller KVC5000 Chef Sense series?

They look like solid mixers and are very cheap at the moment too.

I would be keen to get the food processor attachment as well.

      Cheers!

KVC5020 was choice recommended but no longer made. I personally havent used it as once again it has aluminium attachments which means not dishwasher safe.
        KVC5000T is discontinued.

My previous machine was a Kenwood A901D dating back to around 1981-1985.

        The KVC6100 was popular too.

The KVC5000 was the size of a kitchenaid, 4.7lt bowl, 1100w motor.

The k beater on the kvc6300 is triple the size in thickness of the k beaters on all models below it. Ill post some photos to show you the difference:

        The attachments are quite impressive!!

        • Nice one. I was wondering why the 5000s were so cheap, I guess they are clearing the last of the stock.

Just missed a special at Kitchen Warehouse for the food processor attachment for $80 or so, damn!

A Hobart has a dough hook the size of an arm…

      • Hobarts last a lifetime but they are around $4000. The A200 is 90kg. Not very practical for home. This kvl6300s has good attachments!

I know what they are, I used to service/repair them back in the 90s for my uncle. We did the defence forces and various other commercial kitchens gear. Spud pealers for example that are much like a pottery wheel with a sanding disc. Rebuilt gearboxes on Hobart mixers too.
