Navman MiVue630 Full HD Dashcam with GPS Tracking $79.20 (RRP $159) @ JB Hi-Fi

70

Just picked one of these up, I think its a decent deal from a mainstream brand.

Overview

Protects better with Full HD camera, G-shock sensor and GPS tracker

There’s nothing standard about the high quality you get with the entry model of Navman’s MiVUE series. The MiVUE630 dashcam has a wide-angle camera for capturing more detail on the road and records in full high definition 1080p quality. If you have an accident, the dashcam has a built-in GPS Tracker so you can capture the coordinates of exactly where the incident occurred and a 3-axis G-shock sensor that records the direction and speed of impact - particularly handy for a rear end collision in traffic where you could be pushed into the car in front to show you were not at fault. Combined, the device helps give you the information you need to make a car insurance claim or protect yourself against a fraudulent claim

  • Can you confirm if this has your speedo down the bottom right like the previous ones? on the video playback that is.

  • I'd rather get viofo A119s than this one

    • I agree. Better chipset and better image sensor than 90% of the local Aussie brand dash cameras.

      • Not necessarily. Though it's more expansive, the Street Guardian dash cameras (Aussie dash cams) have way better video quality and sensor (they use Sony sensors) than this one. Check both the day and night video quality from this old, 2015 model, starting from the 5 minute mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ij-kbGyfgjg

        • +1

Yeha I know. They are regarded as one of the best actually use the Sony IMX sensors. DOD Blackvue are other brands. The rest as I said are rubbish.

    • I also agree Viofo A119S is a better choice.
Navman may be well known for their GPS but their dash cams are mediocre.

  • Also $99 delivered at Target ebay with current $20 off code

    • Out of stock now

  • I was thinking about buying it, but now I can't as the deal is over. Funny thing though. When it was on sale it said $79.20 now it's $99. It wasn't that price before the sale. Sneaky JB Hi Fi!
