I know I've seen a couple similar forum posts lately but I'm still pretty stuck to find the product I need.
So basically the parents are going to Italy and Switzerland in September for about a month (no stopovers in other European countries).
I'm trying to find a travel sim for them that they can use a bit of data on (Google Maps, Facebook Messenger, AirBnB) and make local calls to get in contact with their local tour bookings etc. Most of the time they will have WiFi available so will only need about 2-3GB data.
I've come across a couple options:

From my understanding this wont allow you to make calls in Italy or Switzerland and I'm not sure they can even activate it since they wont be in the UK.

Looks like they will get 3GB data and then calls etc are PAYG. Seems like a good option that they can be setup from here.
If anyone has any suggestions on what the best solution would be or another service it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
The three mobile one will activate outside U.K. Local calls in Europe are not included you can buy extra credit for that, or just use what's app etc. I've used the first one before and can recommend it.
