Hi folks. We are going to the UK in August, for one month. I want to be able to use my mobile phone there. Just for the month. How can I find out the best deals, on just sim cards only. I will be buying the sim card in the UK, as other people have said in the past, that is the way to go. I should add that we will be doing a lot of travelling. We will be going from Devon to Aberdeen and places in between, we have lots of family there, and we will be seeing them all. So I need a good coverage on my phone.
As always, thanks for your help.

I have gone with Giff Gaff. They send you the SIM prior to departure and will be using their 20 pound goody bag for calls and data think it's 6 gig Try their website. I wanted to have mine ready to use when we landed
I used GiffGaff in the UK last month too. I bought a SIM that was pre-loaded with £25 credit from eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/giffgaff-UK-prepaid-SIM-card-25-C…) and used the credit to purchase a £20 goodybag just before I left Australia. It cost me £18.45.
The £20 goodybag gives you unlimited talk and text, and always on data which can be tethered up to 6GB.
This is the form to fill in if you just want a free GiffGaff SIM posted to you before you leave Australia: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScMDkxWF-jjgMzyyTms…
Lebara was pretty good when I was there. £15 gets you unlimited talk and 3gb on 3G.
Not sure you can have both.
EE in the UK is the best for coverage I believe.
3 UK is who I went with last time I was there. £25 gets you unlimited and unlimited data ,texts and calls
