  • CASE Titanium Bezel

What does this mean exactly, is the whole case and back titanium, or is it just the bezel?

  • Hi,

Thank you for checking, the whole body is constructed with premium titanium, then locked in placed with a stainless steel back plate.

The display is then crafted with a sapphire crystal

    Hope this answers your curiosity,

    The Sunday Team

Where is the watch made? Please put this in the description.

Not sure why you'd care about titanium on a watch like this anyway. The steel equivalent is hardly going to be too heavy.

      CROWN Screw tight reinforced

What does this mean - does the crown screw down or push down?

      • +4

its just what their chinese supplier says

there's no actual 'screws' at all - at best the case back is screwed in just like any other watch

i think at this point everyone realises this is a chinese watch sold by a 'fashion' company that wants to be the next DW or MVMT

everyone with a clue has passed on this

      • The crown screws into the body to make this watch 10 ATM and dust proof

        • No worries, I've never heard of this style of watch having a screw down crown before. I've read lots of specs on watches that are way more expensive than this and never heard of a reinforced crown, it's usually just worded as a screw down crown. Can you explain how it has been reinforced?

Also a watch can have a push down crown and still be 100m water resistant so that's why I was checking.

    • those ones aren't waterproof, or 3atm. The OP's ones look to be 10ATM.

      • Yes, that right.

Our watches are rated at 10ATM which can be used for snorkelling or swimming

        • Rated 10ATM by whom?

Would like to know the IP rating on this if it is actually rated.

        • 10ATM … Titanium … Japanese Quartz Movement … Sapphire Crystal … does it say this on the case back? May we have a photo please?

Looks like your design has been stolen by hundreds of Chinese factories. This style of watch is everywhere on Aliexpress.

what testing have you done to prove its titanium?

    premium titanium

there is no such thing as premium titanium, its just titanium

    • Hi there,

Firstly the metal is non-magnetic and presents as a shiny dark silver in comparison to your aluminium or stainless steel metals

      Thank you

      • +2

        metal is non-magnetic

there are many other non-magnetic metals

Non magnetic metals include aluminium, copper, lead, tin, titanium and zinc, and alloys such as brass and bronze

please tell us what testing has been done to prove its titanium

        • Correct,

although most of those metals you mentioned present very differently in colour and weight

Our titanium is made up of 6% Aluminum and 4% Vanadium

        • +1

          @The Sunday Co:
has this been tested in a lab?

        • +1

@The Sunday Co: Our titanium is made up of 6% Aluminum and 4% Vanadium

I'd suggest, given that, that language isn't your first language. Have you ever heard of "elements"?

        • @terrys: Thank you fair dinkum Terrys

I look forward to reading your paper on poor education and english as a first language.

Leave it on the table of elements :)

Also yes english is my first language, I was just subject to real human error in answering while multi tasking

        • +1

@The Sunday Co: " please research further and happy to discuss", "CROWN Screw tight reinforced", "Firstly the metal is non-magnetic"..

Have you thought of moving into the fertiliser business?

        • @terrys: No we haven't thought about that… instead university and a business that supports fundraising and many in the community was our calling.

Simply we are just working hard at selling great quality products

Happy to hear any feedback that isn't just more irrational hate that can be found anywhere else

        • @The Sunday Co:
Send me a free sample and I'll check your watches

      • The watches are black and rose gold not "shiny dark silver".

        • Correct,

the watches like many aren't raw metals and go through are plated with a hard enamel for protection and style

        • +1

@The Sunday Co: "Titanium" isn't an allow that contains "6% Aluminum and 4% Vanadium" that needs to be "plated with a hard enamel for protection and style".
In advertising gobbledegook, such alloys are called " base metal". In normal conversation among jewelers, mechanics, welders and the like, it is known more accurately as "shit metal".
As for your "Australian owned and designed", other states occasionally unfairly denigrate the assumed cognitive abilities of Queenslanders owing to some of the representatives they elect, though as a South Australian, I am in no position to cast stones, but they can, and do speak Australian English.
You are either unfamiliar with it, or what you have in your hand isn't a watch…

        • +5

@terrys: spelling mistakes and non-english words turn your irrational hate into me wanting to give you a big old hug :)

        • +1

@The Sunday Co: Then stop calling it "Titanium". Were it the case that you were an " Australian company" based on the "Gold Coast" you would realise that such bullshit could lead to rather annoying legal complications.

        • @terrys: We will stop calling it titanium, when they aren't made of titanium, if that would make you happy?

    • Hi,

There are different grades, please research further and happy to discuss

    • +1

Actually, like steel, there are different grades of titanium. However, in this case I suggest that'premium' refers to the use of titanium over steel, not that it is high-grade titanium. Semantics.

  • will conect to my iphone?

    • Not yet :)

Australian owned and Designed minimalistic watches - Aliexpress disagrees and it appears they have stolen your design!

With a quality difference - compared to what? The Horse, The 5th, etc. They are low quality with an exaggerated price.

This is just a watch that has been picked out of a Chinese watch factory catalogue with a customised dial. Pretty clear by the language provided in the specs.

It is especially encouraging to see that tomorrow (1st June) the prices come down by 30% for 30 days as per Associated OP's title. So yesterday's (30th May) $76.30 models then reduce to $53.41 unless my calculator has lied to me.

Its a heap cheaper than similar Daniel Wellington, MVMNT styles.

    • +5

because you're better off with a similarly or lesser priced casio seiko wenger or just about anything with a known brand

    • +5

Zero brand history. Untested quality, warranty and customer service. Made in China from a catalogue. A plethora of cheaper alternatives. The brands you mentioned are grossly over-priced (I take my hat off to their timing and marketing team). There are alternatives - some less, some more - with sapphire crystals and automatic.

Agree though that some of the commenters are trying to keep the rep honest, but going a bit hard on the rep too.

If I remember correctly, the company started on the Kickstarter advertising their watches. The 2 guys seem genuine enough. No idea as to the quality of the watches though.

    • +2

      they arent doing anything unique

the market is full up on quartz dw clones

if i had $100 or so to spend i'd get a orient symphony auto etc.

  • +2

    I wouldn't upvote this post because, at least for me, $76.3 is a pretty expensive price for a simple watch from a newly-established company;
I'm just a cheapskate bargain hunter, I'm no aesthete and I genuinely cannot tell how this watch's design is any better than those $3.5 Aliexpress watches.
Granted, titanium and 10ATM sounds nice but ozbargainers won't just take your word for it. How heavy is this watch? What about the thickness? Any independent lab testing report?

Store rep I hope you don't take all those negative comments personal. Your watch might have a niche market somewhere else, hipsters or whoever else might love your watch, but here bargain is the one and only keyword and your product have not demonstrated said value so far.

Negging due to major issues with retailer.

Associated OP's title clearly offers 30% off for this month which remains dishonoured by prices not reduced since 2 days before June and the link reveals no watches for $76.30. No watch there is 30% off and OP has had ample opportunity to rectify matters.

OP still has not disclosed where the watches are made 18 days after Member WatchNerd's inquiry https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/4733439/redir and that information is not on OP's website.

It is normal to inspect watches before purchase but we still cannot see the caseback 17 days after courteous request https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/4734756/redir and 15 days after my reminder. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:store_representative
