  • Whirlpool.net.au is a good site for advice on internet providers, this page is very helpful: http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/Choosing_a_Broadband_Provider_F… you need to find out which internet providers are available in your area and if you they space for you. I'm with iiNet and they're okay but I'm too far from the exchange so my speeds are rubbish.

iiNet were good - then TPG came along and now they are rubbish. Speeds, customer service, billing you name it!

  • Just incase you didn't do this, check to see if you can get cable or NBN at your location first. It may seem dumb but from past experience, I have seen a lot of people getting DSL even though their home have cable for example.

    • Cable isn't always better. ADSL was more stable than cable for me.

      • true but in most instance it is better (if you don't go with optus)

  • Check out Spintel

  • I'm with Spintel and have been happy, no dropouts, service has been good…..but as stated best to check Whirlpool forums

  • internode?
