      Doubt it. Having worked in sports apparel before, the margins are huge. 50% off when they're direct-to-consumer probably means they're still making 10-20% margin.

          Exactly.
          Margins may be huge on the items, but that's because of the money they pump into sponsorships, advertising and god knows what other costs. If they were selling as much stock as they wanted for the prices they wanted, they wouldn't have this many sales, you wouldn't think.
          Or this could be their strategy, and their costs aren't that high and they just sell bulk stock on "sale" and relatively little other times.
          However, I imagine it ain't an easy business to thrive in when you have such huge and established competitors already dominating the market.

    Looks like 50% code works only with full-priced items. At least shoes. I tried to use the code with already discounted pair of shoes and it did not work.

      free returns, very easy. i just called them and they give you an RA code, you punch it in online and gives you an australia post label to donwload.

    Got an email saying one of the pairs of shoes were not in stock so they'd have to refund me. Pretty poor inventory management.

    still haven't received my 857v2 shoes. No communication from NB whatsoever (sent customer 'care' an email) and my PayPal says authorisation is still pending after 1 week. I'm guessing their online store and inventory processing is completely mismanaged… Customer service fail.
