The economist is offering free tacos (made with man made vegan meat), which relates to content that they have produced about sustainable alternatives to agriculture and meat farming.
They are also offering on spot sign ups at $20 upfront for 12 weeks of their digital platform (88% off). Plus you get a free 2050 prediction book authored by the economist for free with the trial (usually £15 and only available in U.K.)
They're in qv square, ny the green lawn under cover, next to doughnut time, and they're there till 7pm apparently.

  They were in Brisbane a few weeks ago.

  Good deal, I wouldn't think it would get much cheaper for an economist subscription, for the first 20 weeks.

  I was told they would refund the unused proportion if you cancelled during the 20 week period. So free book I guess, in the true OzBargain spirit.

  The 2050 book itself goes for $22.30 delivered from book depository.

  I'd pay the extra $2.30 to avoid mucking about with subscriptions (if you only want the book).

  I got the same 12 week trial for $20 last year, but I turned off auto renew (just by replying to the confirmation email)
  And I was able to renew it with the same account again yesterday cos they were doing the same thing at flinders st for the same price. Plus I got the 2050 book :)
