  • ? Why the huge difference between red and black? If so it's a great deal!

    • Might be old model or previous version but not mentioned in the description.

  • It's not working. "Sorry, an error has occurred while trying to retrieve the inventory status of this product."

    • Same thing for me. Anyone had any luck with this?

    • Means that the item's no longer in stock.

  • No joy for me

  • Both out of stock

  • Boo, tried and failed also

  • I was able to add it to cart, didn't follow through to check out though.
We have the previous model, my understanding is it's still quite similar. While not light, it's very sturdy and quite manoeuvrable.

  • Did anyone get one??

    • I bought a red one and have received the order despatched email.

      • What time did you order at?

        • +7

Probably 5 minutes before I post this deal, to ensure it is in stock, and I found it quite a bargain worth sharing.

      • Can I ask do you know which year's model it is? The order won't come soon and want to get a second seat and other stuff if there s any special. It's said on line some accessories have changed size since 2016. Thanks!

        • I will let you know when I receive it probably next week.

        • @neuhknik: Dint know if I can still get it. Got a miss call the after I placed the order. I'm afraid they want to tell me they cannot supply it to me as someone got the cancellation call. Haven't called back and no more call from DJ again. I'm keeping worried about it and starting to look for second hand again. T_T

        • @neuhknik: Thanks anyway!

        • +1

@echocs: I received my stroller the model no. is BJ23436 with a manufactured date of 2015 Apr on the box. Not sure you will get a newer model if DJ place a new order from the manufacturer. Hope it helps.

        • +1

@neuhknik: Thanks! Unfortunately DJ called me saying they couldn't offer that to me as the product was no longer available on their website when I ordered it. I tried to argue but no use. End up buying a second hand one with everything I need.
Guess ppl who ordered on the first day will get it.
          Thanks for your reply anyway!

  • do you think it will be in stock in the stores?

    • Checked all vic stores , says unavailable.

  • Out of stock! Madness with this price, even if you able to go to the checkout page, pretty sure they will refund your money.

  • I was too slow :(

  • Amazing price- I bought a teal display model from Baby Kingdom during the week for $500 and thought it was a good deal- $300 is a steal…

  • +3

I was able to order for $300 in store in Canberra, delivery is 6-8 weeks but pickup from the David Jones store for no cost.

    • +2

Thanks for the information! Just ordered a teal one from Eastland VIC. The staff said it will come maybe in Aug. My due day is in late Aug anyway. Hopefully will get it before the bub comes.

        Congrats on both!

          Thanks!

I need a pram! hard choice.. first time parents!

    • +2

We had a Phil & Teds with the extra seat. Picked it up second hand for $200.

      All the best!

      • Stokke Xplore; buy a new one or A very good used one, you won't be disappointed. Especially if you don't have a car and use it everyday on public transport or just on the street

    • We went with chicco bravo travel system. $1k in Australian stores but $440 to $600 from USA. Generally rave reviews.

      • Did you buy the car seat here? It's illegal to use US standard seats here.

    • I had a babyjogger city mini 4 wheels at home. Love it. Works very smooth when walking around with it. Very easy to fold. Just a little bit too heavy and big for me. Now I'm expecting the second baby and of course city select comes first in my mind. If you are tiny yourself and doesn't mind the money maybe think about babyzen yoyo+ or bugaboo bee 5. They are light and very easy to use. Good look as well. I personally just don't want to spent that much money.

  • Awesome price!!!
    Great pram too!

I can still see it in stock online.

    • In stock where?
Would love to get one at this price

  • +1

Wow what an amazing deal for those that got this.

I bought a city select second hand and paid more than this, although it came with the second seat, bassinet and car capsule connection. For a new pram I would not hesitate for getting one for $300

  • +1

honestly, 3 years ago when i purchased the same model cheapest was $800 and that was importing it from NZ. great deal, so solid still holds up everyday now with baby #2.

  • +12

Alright which one of you bought this but doesn't have baby?

  • Dang, incredible price. Well done.

  • Extemely good price! Have been watching stroller prices for 2years now since my child was born and the best price Ive seen city select was $600+

Just get the Kmart ones for $50.

    • +2

that's like telling someone who want's to buy a Camry to buy a Yaris. Obviously different functions.

      • +5

actually its like teling someone who wants to buy a camry, to buy a $500 bomb off gumtree

        • -4

Kmart one may have less functions but they have been approved by Australian standards, also passed quality control, they are still useful who aren't rich.

They're all made in China anyway.

        • @DEvok:
Safety standards protects the consumer as long as the item is used in a manner that it is intended for.
You take a kmart one jogging or off road then you are asking for your kmart one to fall apart and be much more dangerous.
"They're all made in China anyway" - you are insinuating just because they are made from the same place then they are not much different?

  • anybody had any experience with the Redsbaby prams?

They seem like great value with positive feedback

    • They seem to imitate premium brands with cheaper materials and poorer build quality. Theres more "wobble/rattle/give". For the price i would rather buy a Britax.
I am also sceptical when you can only buy from from their demonstrations and cant buy from a store - this allows them to bias thier demonstration by picking strollers with better build quality.
      Read the "OK" reviews

    • +1

We've had a redsbaby for 2 years and can't fault it. Would recommend it in a heartbeat, great build quality, great design and exceptional customer service. Go and take a look at one of their demos and you'll see why.

    • +1

We bought the Redsbaby Bounce for $450 and have used it for seven months. Very happy with what we got for the price. Is the build quality worse than a Bugaboo or Stokke? We don't know… possibly? It's been working well so far though and for the money saved, we're cool with it.

  • Where is the promo code for the 15% percent?

    • You'll see the 15% offautomatically added after you add it to your cart.

Saw the deal last night and cannot see it from the website now. Called and went to the store. Just ordered one for $300 from Eastland VIC as well. The staff already have a piece of paper with all the details of this deal. I asked if there's a lot of ppl asking for it and she said yes.

    • They made you a special order?

      • Donno what do you mean "special" order. No extra 15% off as on now but yes $300 instead of $1000.

        • I meant did you get one on hand as you paid or did you pay for it in advance and would pick it up once it arrives?

        • @hashtagbargain: Paid 25% deposit and will pay the rest when pick up. No stock. Order may arrive before august.

        • @echocs: Just got called from DJ, said the supplier couldn't supply anymore as it was discontinued… and cancelled my back order too :(

        • @hashtagbargain: Oh no! I haven't received any phone call yet. Donno if they will cancel my order or not. Finger crossed.

        • @hashtagbargain: Have you paid the deposit? I'm worrying now. They haven't called me for the cancellation. If cannot get this I have to search for second-handed again. Bad luck.

        • @echocs: Maybe you'll have better luck, they didnt take a deposit from me… Just took my details.

        • +1

@hashtagbargain: Hopefully. The EOFY sale just started anyway. Don't worry, there will be good deals every day.

    • +1

Since it's no longer showing on the website does that mean the deal is over even in store? I don't need another stroller but this looks like such a great deal (I do have a newborn lol)

      • +1

Call the store before you go if you want to buy one. They offered me the price of $300 without doubt in the morning. Guess just the website got some problem. But again not sure if they have changed their mind or not now. Just call before you go.

        • Will give them a call tm if I get a chance…but there's really nothing wrong with the stroller I'm using ATM…lol but a new stroller be awesome too! :)

      • No extra 15%off though.

  • No luck with eastland or Bourke street mall. Pricing error and discounted product, they won't and can't order it in @ $300.

  • Tried Sydney Elizabeth street.

Staff says the price is correct however out of stock. Need to confirm with vendor for availability before placing order.

Wont have response till later this week.

  • Does anyone have the product
Code for this from website? Trying to get one ordered but the staff can't find details because it's no longer online.

    • Do you mean the barcode? The number shown on my order is 0745146234369.
