Cheapest price anywhere using coupon to discount by $19.

Heres a coupon reactivated for OZBargain users on the Belkin 54Mbps Wireless-G USB Adapter. Significantly cheaper than the best price out there, and we have plenty in stock, limit 3 per customer.

Also we have the Seagate 500Gb SATA HDD for $39 (list $49 + $10 off for coupon). We have a few 100 units earmarked at $39 if you use the coupon 'SEAGATESAVER1' online - you get $10 off to make the price $39, again the cheapest anywhere (at this moment).

We always strive to have competitive pricing, we'll try to post the really tasty stuff here from time to time, by all means let us know if theres something of interest out there, you can always drop us a line via our website too.

Thanks all, and thanks OzBargains :)

EDIT: Sorry forgot the shipping: can satchel this little bad boy to you! $9.00 anywhere for 1 or 2… more than that the freight will change depending on where in Australia. Cheers.

can i pick up from a store?

Postage is a bit steep but otherwise an OK deal for those who need one. I was going to buy one since having one of these can be useful at times but since wifi is standard these days in new computers, I am going to pass.

  • just bought two for $20.98 including postage

    can't complain

  • can you confirm which specific model it is as I need one that has drivers for Windows 7

    Store pickup?

    • Same question~

I just ordered 3 via online but cancelled it. I wanted to pay by credit card and centrecom asked me to fax them a copy of my bank statement, a copy of the back of my credit card and a signed authorised letter??

Sorry centrecom, you may want to protect yourself from fraudlent purchases but who in the right mind is going to trust you with all these extra details if they are purchasing from you for the first time?

    You just lost a customer.

      wow thats crazy!

I had the same problem with Dick Smith.

I understand if my name is "Billy Bob" and the card is "Frank Smith" or the card is registered to a different address then the shipping or whatever, but when I order in my name, with my card, with the billing and shipping address matching, who the hell else could it be? They stole my card AND my house? Come on.

  • would be nice if the postage isn't that high.. is it true that centrecom doesn't have an online payment gateway?

  • ended up paying by bank xfer. Certainly worth effort.

Search for specs re. db/dbm didn't turn up. On Belkin page Features says wep (only) & Specs says wpa2 & I assune later as latest fw claimed to be installed.

As it'll do USB 1 & 1.1 (& 2.0) so can use on the old laptops rather than pcmcia card. Or wifi your old PCs rather than mess around cabling them them. The wifi devices that suit the aformentioned are usually wep only so now with this deal you don't have too downgrade your access point. Good one!!

    • yeh, arrived Sydney. All ok. Thanx Centecom!

  • how does this stack up against LAN cable (I think 100mb)…and would the reception drop randomly?

    • +1

you will be sorely disappointed if you are thinking of going wireless in lieu of LAN cable based on performance replacement.

Especially you have > 1 wireless client.

    • If its for something at home like a desktop and you can easily wire an Ethernet cable to it then do it and leave the wireless as a last resort

    • thanks for the clarification guys! :)
I already have like 3 laptops connected to my Wireless G modem, tat's why I asked about performance if I add another desktop to the picutre… but I guess I'm just gonna stick with LAN cable, or until I get a wireless N modem…. (I'm waiting for an all-in-one N modem to become cheaper…)

  • I wonder how much postage for the belkin 54g and the Seagate 500gb drive, shipped to Brisbane. I want both.

  • anyone getting any response from emails to centrecom aside from their automated reply? or should I just not bother?
