Minecraft LEGO - The Village & The Nether $23ea (RRP $57.35) @ EB Games

230

Whilst browsing Eb games, I found these 2 lego sets reduced to an incredible price. Back when I really wanted one they were selling for at least $70 but I didn't think it was worth the price tag. These are retired sets and have over 450 pieces. Keep in mind these are micro world,so the pieces are smaller than usual.

This is the link for The Nether set

Free pickup is only available at a few stores and shipping is around $9 depending on your location. So why not grab both for the same shipping fee.

Edit: Just picked mine up, the bricks are standard size, the only thing that's micro are the mini-figures.

"… so the pieces are smaller than usual."

Did not know tha, went researching and I don't see any out of the ordinary bricks per the breakdown of The Village at bricklink

    • I think you're right, maybe it's just the mini-figures that are micro?

  • Here's the lego website links for these sets so you can see what they really are (the EB games site is a bit unclear about which sets they are). (21105 and 21106)
    They both measure 10cm x 10cm x 10cm when built.[source, lego website!]
I can't comprehend how a 466 piece lego set is that small.

    • That's what I was confused about too. But it seems like they mostly use the small square pieces which makes the set so small.

"I can't comprehend how a 466 piece lego set is that small."

Most of the pieces are flat, and 2x2 or smaller. At 2mm thick by 8mm^2 per 'dot', (about 16x16mm^2 for an 'average' piece), 466 of these pieces sounds about right (at 10cm x 10cm x roughly 2 bricks high, all packed in).
