If you have a little girl you would know how popular these toys are and to purchase them in the shop they cost between $6-7 each. So I thought I would post it for anyone else out there who's daughter is collecting them.
31 year old woman sheepish looks at the few she couldn't resist buying and is seriously considering getting a Happy Meal
The fact you can get extra ones for just $2 is pretty good.

How much is a happy meal these days?
That really depends on how much happiness you want.
If you have a little girl you would know how popular these toys are

Don't happy meals always come with free toys?
I'm going to call my Mini Beanie Boo Jodie.

Because I have a happy quota.
This belongs in the forums. Not a bargain.
If retail price is $6-7 and maccas is selling them for $2 is that not a bargain ?
Brb buying Happy Meals.
They are not worth $6-7. These are small tiny versions of the Beanie Boo, essentially mini versions of the regular ones that are normally 6" tall which retail from $6+ depending on where you buy them, the scarcer ones cost closer to $10 in toy shops or newsagents, really rare ones can be found expensive on eBay. By buying a Happy Meal instead of the 3 for $3 meal at the moment you are essentially paying somewhere between $2 and $3 for this small toy.
why would adults buy toys though?
@tuzii: People like to collect things, especially if it's relevant to their interests.
@AMofOz: I always buy the different monkey ones when they come out, there's no logic to it, I just do and frankly, I don't care what anyone else thinks.
@sparkles: Yeah exactly, if it brings you joy, why not?
The reason Maccas targets your children before they are 8 years of age is that anything learnt at this age is accepted at a fundamental level of the human psyche. The feelings your child has about suckling breast milk are transferred to the McDonalds corporation.
What this means in the real world is your child will almost certainly become an unquestioning, lifelong consumer of McDonald's products which will have profound negative effects on their entire life.
ITT we overanalyse Happy Meals.
This is not a bargain. Happy meal toys are nothing new and the toy is considerably lesser than that it is being compared to. Should be in the forum.
You should submit a report so the mods can move it ;)
thanks OP! So this means we will get 2 toys per happy meal? Also do you know if this is nationwide? Thanks
Still have no idea what the hell is this

Little scary beans…

Clearly it's pumpkin soap.
Does anyone have pictures?
The Happy Meal website has pics of them here: http://www.happymeal.com.au/#/toy-demos/TyBeanieBabies/index
Those ninja turtles look good too
Free toy with a happy meal? that's normal, and considering how you can get a small cheeseburger meal for $3 at the moment, this doesn't seem like a deal at all.
