I'm looking to purchase a Dyson V8 Absolute Plus and was wondering if the below price is any good?
Harvey Norman claims to give you a bonus EFTPOS gift card of $100, and the vacuum for $849

The Dyson V8 Absolute (without plus) is found to be cheaper but not sure if i should go for the plus or non-plus?

Thanks for the info, i had no idea of the differences between the plus and non-plus model.
Sounds like i'll go for the non-plus version, as i'm only really interested in the 'direct drive' and 'soft roller' cleaner heads.
In your experience, are the cleaner heads any good? I've got a dog that constantly sheds fur on carpet, which is why i'm so interested in this vacuum cleaner :)
We've mainly got hard floor surfaces and no pets and it works really well. Hopefully someone else has experience that's more relevant to you and can comment?

Plus v non-plus really depends on your use. The Absolute+ wasn't around when I purchased in one of the Good Guys 20% off sales via ebay, which worked out at $629. Its a great vaccuum.
90% of the time, we just use the soft roller head on our hard floors and we rarely use anything else other than the combi-head and very occasionally the crevice tool. If you're the sort of person that currently dusts the tops of your cupboards, or live in a home where the flexi crevice tool would be particularly handy, consider the Absolute+. If not, how often are you going to use these extra tools and is the price difference worth it?
