      This one has 8 zone addressable per meter, compared to ALDI only 1 zone for the whole roll.
      personally i'd prefer individually addressable strip with ws2812b, ws2801 chips

        I am pretty sure individually addressable strips of 2 metres are still available online for less than a quarter of the cost of this thing.

      i got xiaomi lightstrip, and they are pretty good.
      you can get 2 of them and bulb for this price.

      only caveat is that you can't extend xiaomi lightstrip but you can shorten them if needed,

    These strips are a good idea, but the low efficiency always lets them down. 45 lumens per watt is shocking for anything on long term

    What cheap outdoor ones do people recommend? Solar powered would be great, but not a deal breaker if not.
    Or, just pick any random $2 one cos its only $2?
