Full screen casting issues with mirascreen

I just bought a cheap miracast dongle called mirascreen from ebay but for some reason it doesnt cast all the real state of my galaxy s7. Few pixel of the notification bar and the bottom part of the phone is missing. It seems as if the screen of the tv is not enough.
Is there anyway to correct this issue. I have googled this but cant seem to find the answer.

    Try changing screen size on TV.

      what do you mean changing screen size on tv???
      ..i have a dicksmith tv capable of 1080p and the mirascreen is also set to 1080p.

        Your tv is over scanning the hdmi signal. Fix that setting. Or try another hdmi port which may also help

          could you please let me know where I can disable this overscan setting. I can't find it in the settings.
