I am looking for an ipod touch 8GB. Must be brand new.
My 4 yr old son seems to have found a new obsession with my iphone so I figured ill get him touch so he can play games on it etc.
Any help, links etc is much appreciated. BTW I looked on ebay, they're selling at $200+ too expensive imo.
They had them for %50 off just recently, dont know if they are still on sale.

Are you speaking of ipod touch or knock offs? edit just saw the link Im not sure how these work? I mainly need it for games…How do i DL games onto this?

Unfortunately my son is switched on - no way he will settle for a knock off! He might even complain there's no phone feature/camera on the ipod touch! LOLL
No games from app store, thanks anyway guys but looks like it will have to be an itouch!
Actually save yourself the hassle and just spend the extra $60-100 on the iPod Touch imo.
At least you know how it works and where to get games from.
You might even pick them up cheaper as the new model starts hitting the market.
BigW had them for $185 online recently, others will follow.

i think its the norm for most kids to have phones and mp3 players (most being apple mp3 players). but i'd like to know where the ipod touch for $150 is.. i haven't seen a drop in price for them yet =(
If it helps, I bought an ipod touch 8gb from my local BigW over the weekend for $184. The in store price is different, but I showed the guy the price on the BigW website and the store manager said ok.
You might be able to get it a few bucks cheaper if you try and get it pricematched at Officeworks.
I'd probably buy a cheap knockoff if the 4yo's gonna play with it; whilst not as resilient as the real thing, IME nothing is 4yr old tough! ;)
Target used to have oodles of cheap touchscreen mp3/4 players IIRC! :)
