Velocity Frequent Flyer Gift Card

Can anybody tell me if I redeem my VFF points for the gift card does it come in the mail or as a digital gift card?
Leaving the country soon and want to make sure I use up all my points before I go. Digital would be better- don't have to rely on it arriving before we leave that way!
